The Greek Ombudsman elected first for the Board of Directors of IOI-Europe
The Greek Ombudsman Andreas Pottakis was re-elected to the Board of Directors of IOI-Europe (International Ombudsman Institute- European Region). In the recent elections of the IOI-Europe, Mr Pottakis was elected first among his counterparts in IOI’s European region, which has more than 80 counterpart institutions and is the larger part of the international network of Ombudsmen. In accordance with IOI by-laws, the election of Mr Andreas Pottakis in the first place means his automatic participation in the Board of the International Network, in which all the continents are represented, as well as his strong candidature for the Presidency of the European division.
