Visit of the Ombudsman in the Northern Aegean
The Ombudsman, Mr Andreas I. Pottakis, accompanied by staff members of the Independent Authority, has launched a programme of regular visits in all the Regions of Greece.
The first stop of these visits were the Northeastern Aegean islands, Samos (28-29/8), Chios (29-30/8) and Lesvos (31/8-1/9), where the Ombudsman met with representatives of local authorities and MEPs and discussed issues of common interest.
Aiming at closer contact with the citizens, the Ombudsman, escorted by staff members, is scheduling similar visits in all the Region of the country.
