National Mechanism For The Investigation Of Arbitrary Incidents - Report 2017-2018

The Greek Ombudsman, as a National Mechanism for the Ιnvestigation of Arbitrary Incidents in the security forces and the employees of the detention facilities, publishes this report for the period 2017-2018. It is actually the first report, that will be published annually onwards, and includes statistical data on the cases handled, typical cases, legislative and organizational proposals as well as the actions taken by the Ombudsman to implement the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights on disciplinary investigations.
