Description
The special report of the Ombudsman entitled ‘Attachment of bank accounts for debts to the State’ was presented to the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry at a conference organised by the Independent Authority. The special report registers the malfunctions and overlapping legislation governing the existing attachment procedures and records the experience of its investigators from the large number of citizens’ complaints received, as well as the Ombudsman’s proposals to the competent services.
