- 10th anniversary of the Public Defender of Georgia
The Greek Ombudsman in cooperation with its counterpart of Georgia organised an international conference on “Freedom of expression: Striking the difficult balances for the Ombudsman”. The conference was due in September 2008, but it was postponed because of the war in Georgia. The conference was rescheduled on 11-12 February, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Public Defender of Georgia. It took place in Tbilisi.From: The Greek Ombudsman
